Driver Education
The mission and purpose of the Porsche Club of America’s Driver Education Program is to provide a safe, structured and controlled teaching and learning environment. The PCA DE Program is designed so that participants can improve their driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynamics and driving safety. Participants will experience first-hand the capabilities of high performance automobiles in a controlled, closed-course environment and acquire skills that will enhance safer vehicle operation in all driving situations.
2010 DE SCHEDULE
- May 24-25 at Watkins Glen (Registration opens Feb. 1)
Entry fee $325.
Garage space $25.
Instructors drive free.
Register and pay by May 3 to receive a free event shirt.
- June 23-24 at Watkins Glen – Advanced DE (Registration opens Feb. 1)
Entry fee $385.
Garage space $25.
Register and pay by June 2 to receive a free event shirt.
Advanced/Soloed drivers and Instructors only.
- October 11-12 at Watkins Glen (Registration opens May 26)
Entry fee $325.
Garage space $25.
Instructors drive free.
Register and pay by September 20 to receive a free event shirt.
REGISTRATION
Register at ClubRegistration.Net, the only online event registration site endorsed by National PCA. Create an account once for quick and easy event registrations, including credit card payments!
- Click on the Club Registration logo below and create an account. You will only need to do this once, the site will retain your info for future registrations.
- Once registration is open, register for the event and pay using the secure online payment option.
- Print a Tech Form found at the bottom of this page, get your car teched, and bring the form to the event.
- Event details (Activity Schedule, Track Schedule, Garage Assignments, etc.) will be posted at the bottom of this page (Related Files) as they become available. PRINT ANY DOCUMENTS YOU NEED, AND BRING THEM WITH YOU; they will not be available at the track.
